EBSCO logo All Smartphones and tablets are now auto-detected and directed to the appropriate EBSCOhost Mobile 2.0 website. There is also an app for both Apple|Android.
jstor_logo_large JSTOR uses a responsive design that adapts to the screen size of a device automatically. You can use iBooks or another PDF reader to view articles. Remember to register for a myJSTOR account with the Library before you log in off campus.
artstor ARTstor mobile allows users to search, browse, and view previously created image groups as flashcards. Mobile access directions depend on your device: Apple|Android. Remember to register for an ARTstor account with the library before you log in off campus.

WorldCat_Logo_V_Color WorldCat mobile allows you to search for library materials, e-mail a link or citations, and get location-based holdings information for nearby libraries as well as map/directions, and visitor information.
Amazon Kindle Logo The Kindle app is available for every major smartphone, tablet, and computer, and automatically synchronizes your last page read between devices. Shop the Kindle Store or choose from thousands of free books.
Evernote-Logo Evernote helps you remember everything across all of the devices you use. Stay organized, save your ideas and improve productivity. Evernote lets you take notes, capture photos, create to-do lists, record voice reminders–and makes these notes completely searchable.
studyblue logo StudyBlue lets you review class notes or make flashcards whenever you have a minute to spare. A free StudyBlue.com account is required to use this app, you can create one after installation.
Merriam-Webster_logo In addition to all the definitions from Merriam-Webster‘s Collegiate Dictionary, the app offers voice search, synonyms, antonyms, example sentences, Word of the Day, and more.

fotopedia Fotopedia would be great for those looking for inspiration or a different creative direction for their artwork. There are about 30,000 photos taken from around the world.
library design The Design Library features photography of textile and design selections from various countries and cultures around the world, dating from the 1750s to 1990.
plumperfect Plum Perfect analyzes submitted photos and offers personalized makeup recommendations.
coloruncovered Color Uncovered is an interactive book for the iPad that allows users to explore the art, physics and psychology of color .
thecut The Cut on the Runway provides the latest news on the fashion world.
mangauniversity Manga University 101 provides how to draw Manga tutorials.
framemagic 7 lite Frame Magic is a collage maker. It features 150 customizable layouts and up to 36 pictures can be included per collage.
Non Free Apps for Artistic Endeavors:
artset Art Set has almost every tool an artist could need to work virtually. A few examples include chalks, charcoal, oil pastels, wax crayons and colored pencils.
artauthority Art Authority includes the works of over 1,000 western artists, dating from the ancient times to present.
