Welcome Neejla to the Library!

Please join us in welcoming Neejla Musitief! Neejla began work as Graduate Research Assistant on March 31, 2014. She has a Master of Library Science from Drexel University and a BA in Biology, minor in Religion from Temple University.

Neejla has experience working in public as well as online reference with the Internet Public Library. Before joining Connelly Library’s staff she worked with University of Pennsylvania and volunteered with the Free Library of Philadelphia’s Walnut Street Branch.

A bust of Sarah Peter watches over students as they research and study at Connelly Library.

Peter founded @moorecollegeart in 1848. It remains the first and only visual arts college for women in the United States. Check out the title "Design for Women: a history of the Moore College of Art" (N330 .P5 M66 1968) to learn more about Peter and the college's history.
