Journal of the Month: Metropolitan Museum of Art

So you weren’t able to attend the 2016 Met Gala?  Pretend you were there by browsing the most recent issue of the Met’s quarterly bulletin.  The current issue focuses on the art of Joseph William Turner, known for his seascapes.  The Metropolitan will exhibit his artworks, some of which are rarely seen together, through August 7th.  Some back issues are available for free via the Met’s website;  all are available in the journals section of the Library.

“Turner’s Whaling Pictures”
