The Parkway Central Library, located across Logan Circle, contains more than 7 million items and many special collections. The Central Branch has an excellent Art Department, as well as a Print and Picture Collection, and a Rare Book Department. A Free Library card is available at no cost to anyone who lives, works, pays taxes, or goes to school in the City of Philadelphia. Apply for a card online, or download the application and walk across the street!

The Free Library of Philadelphia also has a number of useful online resources. Their subscription databases cover a wide range of topics and are a good supplement to the ones we have at the Connelly library. Some of them do require a FLP library card to login.
